Roschier appoints six new Partners and one Principal Associate

Following a recent promotion review, Roschier announces seven new appointments from its own ranks, spanning five practice areas across the firm's offices in Helsinki and Stockholm. The appointments are effective 1 June.

Roschier strengthens its expertise and strategic offering in the areas of Corporate Advisory and Public M&A, Digitalization & TMT, Dispute Resolution, Finance & Restructuring and Real Estate & Environment by appointing six new Partners and one new Principal Associate to these practice areas.

The new Partners as of 1 June 2020:

Christoffer Benninge is a Stockholm-based Senior Associate focusing on public M&A, capital markets transactions, and corporate advisory. He has acted as an advisor in several high-profile Swedish and international transactions and restructurings in the past years.

Miikka Konttinen is a Helsinki-based Principal Associate specialized in TMT, projects and energy, outsourcing, and all things digital. He has extensive experience from advising on various technology-related matters such as business transformation projects, data- and platform driven contracting models as well as large-scale industrial projects, construction and sourcing contracts.

Seppo Kymäläinen is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate with extensive experience in public and private M&A as well as corporate and securities advisory work. He also regularly advises clients on a wide range of corporate governance and contract matters, with further experience e.g. in corporate restructurings, private equity and joint venture structures.

Antti-Jussi Partanen is a Helsinki-based Principal Associate specialized in real estate, energy, private M&A and private equity matters. He is regularly involved in complex transactional work, including multi-jurisdictional real estate portfolio transactions as well as infrastructure and energy related acquisitions and divestments.

Shirin Saif is a Stockholm-based Senior Associate focusing on dispute resolution. She has particular expertise in international arbitration and high-value commercial arbitrations arising out of the energy sector and large infrastructure and construction projects as well as investment treaty arbitrations. Her expertise also covers a broad range of disputes in other business sectors, including technology, post-M&A, media & entertainment, and retail & wholesale.

Veronica Stiller is a Stockholm-based Finance Counsel specialized in international finance transactions, including syndicated loans, leverage finance, high yield bonds as well as fund financings and asset backed financings. She has extensive experience from working on large international debt transactions and representing a broad range of banks and other financial institutions as well as private equity investors and corporate borrowers.

The new Principal Associate as of 1 June 2020:

Carl Persson is a Stockholm-based Senior Associate focusing on domestic and international commercial arbitration, as well as litigation. He specializes in disputes relating to M&A transactions, securities and finance, and director and auditor liability. He has acted as counsel in a significant number of arbitration and litigation proceedings in these areas.
