Roschier represented CVC in the USD 1.65 billion sale of the Etraveli Group to Booking Holdings Inc.
Funds managed by CVC Capital Partners has entered into an agreement regarding the divestment of the Etraveli Group to Booking Holdings Inc., valuing the Etraveli Group at approximately USD 1.65 billion. Roschier represented CVC in the divestment together with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
The Etraveli Group was founded in 2000 and is a global technology provider for flights, focused on delivering the best possible flight content to consumers and consumer-facing companies. The group has nearly 1,000 employees and is headquartered in Sweden, with offices in Greece, Canada and India.
CVC Capital Partners is leading private equity and investment firm with approximately USD 125 billion of assets under management. Since its inception in 1981, CVC Capital Partners has secured commitments in excess of USD 165 billion from leading institutional investors.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
