Faron has successfully completed its rights offering of approximately EUR 40.1 million in Finland and the United Kingdom. The rights offering was fully covered through a combination of subscription undertakings, commitments and guarantees received from shareholders and other investors. Roschier acted as Finnish law counsel to Faron.
Faron is a global, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, focused on tackling cancers via novel immunotherapies. Faron’s shares are listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland and as depositary interests on AIM operated by the London Stock Exchange.
Faron will use the net proceeds, among other things, to strengthen the company’s financial position, to run a randomized, 90-patient Phase II trial in frontline high risk myelodysplastic syndrome with bexmarilimab in combination with azacitidine, as well as to accelerate the development of its lead asset bexmarilimab by providing it to up to five investigator-initiated trials.
The prospectus prepared in relation to the rights offering was drawn up as an EU Follow-on prospectus.
Roschier’s core advisory team comprised Petri Avikainen, Miia Saarinen, Eetu Ihamäki, and Aino Ylikahri.
