Roschier Impact brings together the firm’s community engagement under a unified framework focused on making a meaningful, responsible contribution to society. We support initiatives that align with our focus areas: society & environment, children & youth, and emerging entrepreneurship. Through a combination of legal expertise, academic collaboration, financial support and long‑term relationships, we aim to enable positive impact.

What we support

Roschier Impact includes four defined types of support:

  • Pro bono: We provide pro bono legal assistance to nonprofit organizations, foundations and academic institutions whose missions align with our focus areas. Pro bono collaborations are designed to apply our legal expertise where it can create clear societal value.
  • Academic support: We support academic institutions and research‑driven organizations through teaching, mentorship, thought leadership and knowledge‑sharing. This includes student engagement, legal education initiatives and activities that strengthen future talent and the legal profession.
  • Sponsorships: We enter sponsorships with organizations and initiatives that contribute to our focus areas and create mutual value. Sponsorships may include financial support, visibility collaborations or participation in programs that promote social or environmental development.
  • Charity: We provide financial donations to selected organizations and initiatives that drive meaningful societal impact. These contributions are carefully evaluated to ensure alignment with our values and responsible use of resources.

Timelines and decision periods

We welcome inquiries throughout the year. Most decisions are made within a few weeks, depending on the nature and complexity of the request. Larger partnerships or multi‑year initiatives may require additional evaluation time.

Who manages Roschier Impact

Roschier Impact is overseen by the Roschier Impact Committee, a cross‑firm group representing a broad range of functions, seniority levels and expertise. The committee evaluates all incoming requests and ensures that decisions are aligned with our values, focus areas and available resources.
