Data Centers

We provide fully integrated legal advice across the entire lifecycle of data center projects and investments, combining market-leading transactional expertise with deep sector knowledge and a strong understanding of the technical, regulatory, and commercial drivers shaping the industry.

Our dedicated Nordic data center team, spanning Sweden and Finland, acts as a one-stop shop for domestic and international clients investing in, developing, financing, operating, and divesting data center assets and digital infrastructure platforms across the region. We offer coordinated, partner-led advice across all relevant practice areas through a single point of contact, ensuring efficient execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects.

We regularly advise global institutional investors, infrastructure funds, private equity sponsors, developers, hyperscalers, colocation providers, operators, lenders, and large corporate users on some of the most sophisticated and strategically significant digital infrastructure projects in the Nordics. Our experience covers greenfield developments, powered land transactions, acquisition and financing of operational assets, joint ventures, sale and leaseback structures, and large-scale platform investments.

A distinguishing feature of our practice is our strong understanding of power availability, energy infrastructure and regulatory frameworks, which are increasingly critical to the viability and timing of data center developments. We work closely with clients from the earliest stages of projects to help navigate grid constraints, permitting challenges, sustainability requirements and evolving regulatory expectations.

We are particularly well positioned to support clients in the Nordic market, where access to renewable energy, political stability, advanced digital infrastructure and increasing hyperscaler activity continue to drive significant investment in the sector. Our cross-border capabilities allow us to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional projects seamlessly across the region.
