Roschier Insights Seminar: Legal issues concerning e-commerce

We are arranging a hybrid event for clients on legal issues concerning e-commerce. Accelerated by the ongoing pandemic, consumer trade has increasingly shifted online. As e-commerce is typically of cross-border nature, the shift brings new challenges to companies. In this seminar, we will discuss legal issues in relation to online consumer trade, brand protection in the digital environment, as well as tackle questions concerning the latest legislative changes and authority guidelines.

When: Tuesday 17 May 2022 at 8:30-11:00 (the program starts at 9:00)
Where: Jura-Sali, Kasarmikatu 21 B, Helsinki or by livestream

Roschier’s experts Markku Tuominen, Mikael Segercrantz, and Johanna Lilja together with Jonas Forth from All Things Commerce Helsinki Ltd will be covering the following topics in the seminar:

  • Issues related to the launch of the renewed MOOMIN web shop
  • Interference in the sales of counterfeit goods in e-commerce
  • Latest changes in the Finnish Consumer Protection Act
  • Renewed instructions on website cookies and contractual practices

The event will be moderated by Kaisu Korpua from Roschier.

Last day of registration: Tuesday 10 May. This hybrid event will be in Finnish and for clients, by invitation only. You can choose to attend in person or by livestream. We are monitoring the COVID-related regulations and will let you know whether there are any changes as regards the arrangements. If you haven’t received an invitation and would like one, please contact events@roschier.com. Welcome!
