Hadean Ventures and Tesi back Kasvu Therapeutics in a EUR 30 million Series A financing round

Kasvu Therapeutics has raised EUR 30 million in a Series A financing round, the largest Series A ever raised by a Finnish drug development company.

The Series A was led by Hadean Ventures, a leading European life science VC fund, with participation from Tesi and other investors. Roschier acted as legal advisor to both Hadean Ventures and Tesi.

The funding will advance KTX-0141, Kasvu Therapeutics’ lead drug candidate, towards clinical development targeting major depressive disorder and support the company’s mission to develop transformative treatments for depression and other neuropsychiatric disorders.

Roschier’s advisory team included Tero Jormanainen, Timo Rautiainen, Joel Smeds, Jussi Salonen, Johanna Flythström and Johanna Rahnasto.
