Roschier represents RCF Steering Committee on Intrum’s EUR 4.5 billion recapitalisation transaction

Roschier advised the Steering Committee of lenders under Intrum’s super senior revolving credit facility in relation to the negotiation and restructuring of Intrum’s approximately EUR 4.5 billion debt obligations. The transaction was implemented by way of a pre-packaged Chapter 11 and a Swedish company reconstruction process.

Intrum is Europe’s leading provider of credit management services, operating in 20 markets. On 24 July 2025, Intrum announced the successful completion of its comprehensive recapitalisation transaction.

Roschier provided advice across various practice groups from its Swedish and Finnish offices. The core team consisted of Finance and Restructuring partner Carl Brodén, senior associates Marcus Kern Fahlander and Axel Thörn-Kock and associates Sebastian Söderlund, Jacob Gustafsson, Ali Khalid Fadhil, Mohammed Karim, Felix Öjefelt and Maximilian Pernheden.

The Roschier team worked on the transaction alongside the Steering Committee’s English law legal counsel Clifford Chance and the Steering Committee’s financial adviser, Rotschild & Co.
