Roschier ranks first in the Nordics by M&A deal value

We ranked first in the Nordics by deal value in Mergermarket’s M&A legal league tables for the first nine months of 2026. The results reflect our work on major transactions across the region, with high positions by deal value also in each of Sweden and Finland.
“Many of the transactions we advise on involve significant decisions for our clients and their businesses. It is rewarding to see that work reflected in our position at the top of the Nordic ranking,” says Jouni Salmi, Partner in Roschier’s M&A practice.
Our positions in the Nordic tables were:
- Nordics: first by deal value and 16th by deal count
- Sweden: fourth by deal value and seventh by deal count
- Finland: fourth by deal value and seventh by deal count
Our work also features in the European and global tables. We placed 17th in Europe by deal value and ninth for European buyouts. In the exit rankings, we ranked fourth in Europe and seventh globally.
The combination of these rankings reflects our work with clients through different stages of investment, from acquisitions to exits. Many of these transactions involve several jurisdictions, bringing together our teams in Finland and Sweden with legal advisors in other markets.
