Roschier advised Investor in the creation of a leading service provider for emergency medical services

Sarnova, a company of Patricia Industries (part of Investor AB), announced yesterday that it will acquire and simultaneously combine Digitech and the emergency medical services business (EMS) of R1 RCM Inc. in partnership with Pamlico Capital and Mark Schiowitz, Digitech Founder and CEO. Roschier advised Investor AB in the transaction.

Sarnova is a leading national specialty distributor of healthcare products and services for the EMS and acute markets operating through its four major business units Bound Tree Medical, Cardio Partners, Emergency Medical Products and Tri-anim Health Services. The acquisitions will further strengthen Sarnova’s customer offering to the EMS industry.

Digitech, headquartered in Chappaqua, New York offers comprehensive RCM services and technology solutions focusing exclusively on the EMS market. Digitech serves municipalities, hospitals, and private ambulance customers through innovative technology, time-tested processes, and true partnerships with EMS clients.

R1 EMS, formerly known as Intermedix, offers revenue cycle management services and solutions for EMS agencies including billing, coding, collections, dashboards and reporting support.
