Taru-Tuulia Tammi is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate working with Roschier’s Dispute Resolution practice. Taru has been assisting clients with various commercial arbitrations, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. She has also assisted our clients in compliance investigations, as well as corporate compliance and sanctions related advice. She has been involved in disputes relating to, among other things, large-scale industrial projects and energy, shareholder agreements, and financing agreements. Taru has also been part of the organizing team of the Helsinki Pre-Moot since 2021.
Work highlights
Taru-Tuulia’s experience includes advising:
- Finnish nuclear company Fennovoima in five parallel ICC arbitrations against Rosatom group companies arising as a result of the termination of an EPC Contract for the turnkey delivery of the Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant, with claims valued at several billion euros;
- A Finnish energy company as lead counsel in six parallel domestic arbitrations and court cases relating to liabilities arising from a joint venture power plant, valued at EUR 70 million;
- Clients in interim relief proceedings before the national courts, including asset seizure and injunctions as well as related domestic and cross-border enforcement;
- Clients in internal investigations;
- Foreign and domestic clients in questions relating to EU sanctions regime in e.g. trade compliance and exit processes.
