Pauliina Vilponen is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate working with the firm’s Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Emerging Companies, Digitalization & TMT and Marketing & Consumer practices. Pauliina advises clients on matters relating to development and commercialization of IP and technology, use and protection of data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, medical and health technology. She also regularly assists emerging companies with various commercial, transactional and regulatory matters.
Pauliina’s work experience includes drafting and negotiation of commercial and cooperation agreements, assistance in IP and technology intensive M&A transactions, and regulatory advice relating to, among others, data protection, medical devices, and healthcare. In addition to working at Roschier, Pauliina has gained experience at a Finnish health tech company where she was involved in various day-to-day legal matters, including drafting and negotiation of commercial and cooperation agreements, as well as data protection, consumer protection, and healthcare compliance work.

- Corten Capital in its acquisition of Roima Intelligence from Intera Partners and certain other shareholders;
- ŌURA in the acquisition of Human Engineering Health Oy, a Helsinki-based startup behind the metabolic health product Veri;
- Ilkka Oyj in establishing a new regional media partnership with Kaleva Media; and
- Hellman & Friedman in its investment into Mehiläinen.
