Julius Torvelainen is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate and a member of Roschier’s Finance & Restructuring practice. He has extensive experience in different types of financing transactions with a focus on real estate finance, leveraged finance and corporate finance as well as experience from a high variety of debt capital market transactions (including both investment grade bond issuances and high-yield bonds). Julius regularly advises financial institutions, sponsors and borrowers in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions and has also gained experience through a secondment to a major Nordic bank. Julius joined the firm in 2019. He is recognized as a rising star in Finland within the fields of banking and finance as well as debt capital markets by IFLR1000.
