Janne Nurminen is a Helsinki-based Counsel with a special focus on domestic and cross-border transactional employment law as well as business transformations and restructions. Janne also has extensive experience in executive-level employment matters, including service and separation agreements, incentive schemes and pensions advice. His previous experience includes training at the bench at the District Court of Tampere. He was awarded the Attorney of the Year award by the Helsinki Bar Association in 2012 for his work related to the coordination of a pro bono legal advice service offered by members of the Bar. He joined Roschier in 2007.

Work highlights
Janne Nurminen’s experience includes advising:
- Kojamo plc and its wholly owned subsidiary Lumo Kodit Oy in the landmark acquisition of a large Finnish housing portfolio owned by Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company as well as financing of the transaction through issuance of special rights entitling to shares and acquisition financing facility of EUR 600 million;
- Stora Enso in the planned separation of its forest assets business through a statutory cross-border demerger, creating a new Swedish company to be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and Nasdaq Helsinki;
- CVC-led consortium in the recommended cash tender offer for all shares in WithSecure Corporation;
- Enersense International Plc in the sale of its wind and solar power project development business to Fortum; and
- Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in the acquisition of Silo AI Oy.
