Erno Suomalainen is a Helsinki-based Associate working with Roschier’s Finance & Restructuring practice. He has experience in a variety of finance and debt capital markets transactions, including leveraged finance, bond financing, real estate and acquisition finance, project finance, as well as refinancing. He joined Roschier in 2023.

Erno Suomalainen’s experience includes advising:
- Pareto Securities on the issuance of EUR 80 million senior secured bonds by Fonecta Group Oy;
- DataCrunch in raising debt financing as part of the Series A funding round led by Nordea and Armada Credit Partners while the equity round was led by byFounders, Skaala, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, and Tesi;
- Citi in connection with the financing of Brookfield’s acquisition of a residential portfolio, branded Unity Living, comprising approximately 1,300 units in Sweden and Finland
