Ansa Kallioja is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate working with Roschier’s Dispute Resolution practice.

Since joining Roschier in 2018, Ansa has been assisting clients with arbitration, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She has been involved in disputes relating to, among other things, large-scale industrial projects and energy, software licensing, and distribution agreements. In addition, Ansa assists clients in  conflict avoidance matters, white-collar crime investigations and criminal proceedings.

Ansa has completed a one-year court training at the District Court of Itä-Uusimaa, where she also continued to work as a District Judge for a short period after the court training.

Work highlights

Ansa Kallioja’s experience includes advising:

  • Finnish nuclear company Fennovoima in five parallel ICC arbitrations against Rosatom group companies arising as a result of the termination of an EPC Contract for the turnkey delivery of the Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant, with claims valued at several billion euros;
  • The Bain Capital led consortium in the share price dispute following the EUR 2.1 billion public cash tender offer for all shares in Ahlstrom-Munksjö
