Andreas Hallbeck is a Stockholm-based Senior Associate working with Roschier’s Dispute Resolution and Corporate Compliance & Investigations practices. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and is also qualified to practice law in the State of New York as a member of the New York State Bar.
In addition to his Swedish LL.M. degree, Andreas holds a US LL.M. degree, which he completed as a Fulbright scholar at the University of Texas, while he simultaneously researched topics relevant to the intersection of international law and politics as a research fellow at the University.
Andreas’ experience includes acting as a counsel in international and domestic commercial arbitrations, investor-state arbitrations, as well as Swedish court proceedings. He has represented clients in arbitration proceedings under the SCC Rules and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, in cases relating to e.g. banking, M&A transactions and construction.
Moreover, Andreas is experienced in working with multi-jurisdictional white-collar crime investigations and compliance matters. As a visiting lawyer at Nokia Corporation, he led internal investigations into alleged breaches of company code of conduct or violations of law.
