Steady Energy completes its B-round financing and welcomes Fortum as a strategic investor and cooperation partner

Roschier advised Finnish nuclear innovator Steady Energy on the additional investments to complete its B-round financing and the strategic investment by Fortum.

In July 2025, Steady Energy announced the completion of its EUR 32 million B-financing round, accelerating the development and construction of a full-scale pilot plant. As a further step in the company’s development, the Nordic energy company Fortum Corporation has strengthened its cooperation with Steady Energy and made a EUR 2.1 million strategic investment into Steady Energy as part of its Innovation & Venturing activities, through which Fortum aims to identify and support startups and technologies that promote a lower-emission future. Through their collaboration, Steady Energy will benefit from a wide range of nuclear expert services by Fortum.
