Roschier strengthens Financial Regulatory capabilities

Firm news|April 24, 2026

Roschier has established a dedicated Financial Regulatory practice, reinforcing the firm’s capabilities in advising on complex matters involving entities providing financial services across the Nordic region.

The new practice builds on Roschier’s long-standing experience in transactions and disputes within regulated environments.

“Our ambition is to be a leading adviser for transactions involving financial service providers. We combine regulatory depth with a strong commercial perspective, with a clear focus on adding value for the client” says Björn Hård af Segerstad, Counsel within Finance & Restructuring and head of the Financial Regulatory practice.

The practice has a clear focus on transactional work, large and complex projects and disputes. This approach allows the team to concentrate on complex, high-impact matters where regulatory considerations are central.

The launch aligns with Roschier’s broader firm strategy, including its mission to deliver outcomes that matter and its focus on excelling in new and complex areas of law. As the financial regulatory landscape continues to evolve, the practice is designed to support clients in navigating regulatory change while pursuing growth opportunities. The team is based in Stockholm and works in close collaboration with colleagues across the firm, including Helsinki, with further development planned.

The establishment of the Financial Regulatory practice reflects Roschier’s continued investment in areas where regulatory complexity and commercial activity increasingly converge, and underscores the firm’s commitment to providing focused, business-oriented legal advice in regulated markets.
