Roschier represented JOST in its acquisition of Ålö Holding
German-based industrial company JOST has acquired Ålö Holding from Altor Fund III. Roschier advised the buyer in the transaction.
Ålö Holding AB, headquartered in Umeå, Sweden, is world leading within agricultural machinery and its core business is to manufacture and supply front loaders and implements. Ålö has production facilities in four countries, sales companies in seven countries and customers in more than 50 countries worldwide.
JOST Werke AG, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, is a world-leading supplier of systems to the truck and trailer industry. With sales and production facilities in 22 countries across five continents, JOST currently employs about 2 900 staff worldwide.
Subject to approval by antitrust authorities, closing is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
Roschier acted as lead legal counsel and engaged local counsel in China, France, Germany and the United States. Roschier’s core team from the Private M&A practice consisted of Malin Leffler, Jeppa Persson, Alexander Landolsi, Philip Wahlgren and Elin Larsson.
