ŌURA acquires Doublepoint

Roschier advises Oura in the acquisition of Doublepoint Technologies Oy, a Helsinki-based company specialising in AI-driven, biometric gesture recognition technology.

Founded in 2020, Doublepoint and its team pioneered biometrics-based interaction for next-generation computing platforms.

The acquisition will strengthen Oura’s long-term innovation roadmap and support future product offerings.

Oura was most recently valued at approximately $11 billion and has sold more than 5.5 million rings.

Roschier’s core team comprised Tero Jormanainen, Wiljami Siitonen, Santeri Naukkarinen, and Alex Hast (M&A), Mika Ohtonen and Tuomas Kiviranta (Tax and Structuring), and Johanna Flythström and Julia Jauhiainen (IP and Technology).
