House of Many Voices reflects on the meaning of it all

Insights|August 12, 2025

This August in Helsinki, House of Many Voices opens its doors once again to a world of dialogue and insight. What began as a bold experiment has become a gathering where poetry sits beside policy, and lived experience speaks as powerfully as expertise.

House of Many Voices is our platform for inclusive, contemporary societal dialogue and a way for us to amplify the voices of our partner organizations driving meaningful change. This year, the conversation spans topics such as authenticity, beauty, compassion, death, history, language, learning, love, money, music, network, reality, respect and work.

We will be hearing from:

  • Anders Adlercreutz, Minister of Education, Ministry of Education and Culture
  • Erika Andersson, Co-founder and Chief Evangelist Officer, Allshares
  • Niina Halonen-Malliarakis, Principal, City of Helsinki
  • Juha Hänninen, Palliative physician
  • Harri Koskinen, Designer, Friends of Industry
  • Harri Kulmala, CEO, DIMECC
  • Marx Mukaru, Poet
  • Siamäk Naghian, CEO, Genelec
  • Stefan Nygård, Associate professor, University of Helsinki
  • Reetta Rajala, Portfolio and board professional, founder, Amua, 55 Rise and Shine
  • Lauri Ratia, Board professional
  • Dakota Robin, Team building specialist and DEI consultant
  • Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra
  • Nasir Sarr, Poet
  • Anna Savonen, CEO, ethicist, Ethics Agency
  • Sanni Siltanen, Mission Lead, Business Finland
  • Johanna Vesikallio, CEO, Junior Achievement (JA) Finland

Additional speakers contribute equally important questions and unique perspectives, making the conversation anything but ordinary. What does a good death look like, and who decides? What are the responsibilities of language in a time of division? How do we carry history forward without letting it weigh us down? What is beauty without integrity, love without gentleness, authenticity without courage?
