Hines acquires 555-apartment residential project in Farsta through forward funding

Roschier advised Hines, a global real estate investor and manager, on its acquisition of a residential development project comprising 555 apartments in Telestaden, Farsta. The acquisition is structured as a forward funding transaction with residential developer Reliwe, which will be responsible for delivering the project to completion.

The development forms part of Telestaden, one of southern Stockholm’s largest urban regeneration projects, and will transform former Televerket/Telia office buildings into homes. The conversion will bring a new residential use to the historic site and contribute to its evolution into a vibrant neighborhood. Located less than a ten-minute walk from Farsta metro station, the project is close to shops, restaurants, and other local amenities. Completion is expected in 2029.

The acquisition marks Hines’ sixth residential investment in Sweden, further expanding its presence in the Swedish residential market.
