The assistant role

Our assistants take the lead in supporting the business in many ways, enabling us to excel in client experience. As an Assistant, you will work closely with our lawyers and assistant colleagues, providing high-quality administrative support and service together with your colleagues. As a member of the assistant team, you will also have the opportunity to participate in internal development projects, contributing, for example, to new and improved ways of working.

We have a large assistant team spanning across our offices in Helsinki and Stockholm and a very strong collaborative culture, characterized by dedication to knowledge sharing, teamwork and the highest level of service.

Do you want to meet us and take the first steps on your future career path? Welcome to Roschier’s excursion at our Helsinki office on 5 February!

During the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating field of law and the diverse job tasks offered by a law firm. We’ll delve into the roles of our assistants through various career stories, learning what it’s like to transition from being a student to becoming a Roschier Assistant Trainee and further into the role of a Legal Assistant. Don’t miss your opportunity to meet and network with us.

Kirsi Kosunen and Roschier: A four-decade milestone

January 2024 marks the 40th work anniversary of Senior Executive Legal Assistant, Kirsi ‘Kikka’ Kosunen, at Roschier. During her time at Roschier, she has witnessed the development of the assistant’s role and has seen the company, its ways of working and technology evolve to catch up with the demands of today’s world.

Kikka’s 3 tips to keep in mind when applying for a job

  • Browse through the communication channels in advance to get a feeling of the company – does the content resonate with you or support the expectations of your desired future employer?
  • When writing your application, think through where your strengths lie. Make sure to include qualifications and experiences that make you stand out from the crowd.
  • Ensure that you are prepared for the interview. Remember that interviews are a two-way thing, so show your interest by preparing questions to ask in return.
