Sale of Genesta Property Nordic to eQ

Roschier advises Genesta Property Nordic AB and its shareholders on the sale of Genesta to eQ Plc. Genesta is a Nordic real estate investment manager with approximately EUR 1 billion in assets under management and operations across the Nordic countries and Luxembourg.

The acquisition will expand eQ Plc’s real estate asset management business across the Nordic region and further strengthen its international growth platform. Through the transaction, eQ will gain an international institutional client base and network, local operations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, as well as a Luxembourg-based fund management company holding an AIFM licence.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
