Roschier acts for Atlas Copco on the formation and listing of the SEK 105 billion company Epiroc on Nasdaq Stockholm
Roschier has advised Atlas Copco Aktiebolag and Epiroc Aktiebolag on the split of the group, the distribution of Epiroc’s shares to shareholders of Atlas Copco and the listing of Epiroc’s shares on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Epiroc is a productivity partner for the mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries, developing and producing innovative equipment, consumables and service for use in surface and underground mining, infrastructure, civil works, well drilling and geotechnical applications.
The establishment of Epiroc was initiated in early 2017 and the global split of the group has been carried out during 2017 and 2018. The prospectus was approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and published on 25 May 2018, and trading in Epiroc’s shares on Nasdaq Stockholm commenced on 18 June 2018. The market value of Epiroc Aktiebolag on the first day of trading is approximately SEK 105 billion.
