Learning about leadership, innovation, and progress at Nordic Business Forum 2025
Insights|September 25, 2025
We are proud to have continued our partnership with the Nordic Business Forum for the 8th consecutive year. This year’s theme “Moving Forward” resonated deeply with the challenges and opportunities facing leaders today. With a focus on strategic foresight, growth, and organizational culture, the event offered a rich tapestry of insights that we were excited to explore and share through our own curated events.
Among the standout speakers was Simon Sinek, who returned to the Forum to explore purpose-driven leadership and the dynamics of leading younger generations. He emphasized the need for empathy and curiosity when working with Gen Z, who seek belonging, meaning, and growth. “They want to know they matter, their work matters,” he said, urging leaders to build trust and show loyalty over time.

Angela Ahrendts, former CEO of Burberry and SVP at Apple, shared powerful insights on leading transformation with empathy and vision. She emphasized honoring a company’s legacy while driving change, noting that “if you are not changing, you are not doing your job.” Her approach centers on building trust, aligning around shared values, and creating purpose-driven cultures that endure.
Rick Rubin, legendary music producer and creative thinker, offered a deeply reflective session on intuition, authenticity, and the power of small steps. He encouraged leaders to “trust your heart” and take action even when uncertain, emphasizing that creativity and progress stem from tuning into one’s inner compass rather than following convention.

Other highlights included April Rinne on embracing uncertainty as a leadership advantage by finding opportunities in change by increasing awareness, curiosity, and healthy questioning, and Sukhinder Singh Cassidy on scaling culture without losing soul by making little moves in between the big moves and to always change the culture to always keep meeting our purpose.
To ensure broad access to the Nordic Business Forum’s world-class content, Roschier organized livestreams of selected sessions in our Helsinki and Stockholm offices. Employees had the opportunity to tune in and explore topics ranging from innovation and leadership to future-readiness.
Employees tuned in to hear Howard Yu discuss what makes a future-ready organization, Gianpiero Petriglieri explore leadership in the age of nomadic professionalism, and Diana Kander share simple question to unlock innovation. Additional sessions included Risto Siilasmaa on strategic foresight and Jonah Berger on to stop defaulting to old habits and lower the barrier to exploring better, new ways of doing things. Each tailored to specific employee groups to maximize relevance and impact.
At Roschier, we believe that leadership is not just about direction. It’s about vision, adaptability, and connection. The Nordic Business Forum 2025 reinforced our commitment to fostering these qualities both internally and in our client relationships. We look forward to continuing the conversation through our upcoming leadership seminars and internal initiatives.
As we reflect on this year’s Forum, the message is clear: progress requires courage, foresight, and a willingness to evolve. We are excited to move forward together.
