Mia Eklundh is the Chief Operating Officer of Roschier and a member of the firm’s cross-border management team. As part of the firm’s management she plans the operational development of the firm and its execution together with the Managing Partner and the local Office Heads. She is also the Secretary of the Board and thus coordinates the board work and strategic roadmap preparations together with the Chair and the Managing Partner.
Mia joined Roschier in 1997 as the firm’s Personnel & Practice Development Manager. In such capacity, Mia was responsible for developing the firm’s personnel and practice support as well as infrastructure, including Recruitment, HR operations, Competence Development, Knowledge Management and IT solutions, Finance & Premises, General Office and Practice Development (Marketing) support. The firm expanded from approx. 40 to 110 lawyers during this time. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2005.
Mia has a background in managing international operations for a leading worldwide consulting company, and in accounting. She has been active in the Finnish Bar Association as a member of the Association’s Information Services Committee during 2004-2007.
