Gisela Knuts is Head of the Helsinki office.

Gisela is specialized in commercial dispute resolution and boardroom advisory. Gisela’s practice includes counsel work in disputes relating to, e.g. construction, energy, distribution, M&A, insolvency and anti-trust damages. She also acts as counsel in white collar crime matters and frequently sits as arbitrator. In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Gisela provides strategic advice to corporations and not-for-profit organizations.

  • A Finnish institutional investor in arbitration proceedings concerning an alleged breach of contract;
  • Various clients in the field of cartel and anti-trust damages in Finland and abroad (counsel for claimant and defendant; expert witness);
  • As chair, party appointed and sole arbitrators in international arbitrations seated in the Nordic countries and continental Europe.
