Emma Sopyllo
Emma Sopyllo is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate focusing on IP and technology related advisory and litigation.
In addition to her LL.M. degree from the University of Helsinki, Emma also holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Emma originally joined Roschier in 2008 upon receiving her Finnish LL.M. degree. Before rejoining the firm in 2014, she worked as a litigation associate in the Atlanta and New York offices of US law firm Alston & Bird.
Emma Sopyllo’s experience includes advising:
- Autoliv, the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, in the formation of a joint venture, Zenuity AB, together with Volvo Cars;
- Thunder Software Technology Co., Ltd. in the acquisition of Rightware Oy;
- Orkla as Finnish counsel in its acquisition of Cederroth;
- IK VII Fund in the acquisition of Evac Oy with respect to IP matters.
