Anna Haapanen is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate specialized in intellectual property, outsourcing, ICT and IP transactions, as well as licensing, with a particular focus on open source software.
In addition to her LL.M. degree, Anna holds a post-graduate LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School (New York) with Stone Scholar honors as well as a M.Sc. (Econ.) degree from Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.
Her previous experience includes working in New York for US law firm Software Freedom Law Center, Comptel, Nokia (Open Source Legal) and Hantro. Anna is a member of the New York Bar and the Finnish Bar. She is the Representative of Finland at the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) and Member of the Board at the International Federation of Computer Law Associations (IFCLA). Anna has also acted as a Chairman of the Board in the Finnish IT Law Association in 2013 and 2014.
