Laura Huomo is the new chair of IPFA Nordic

Energy & Capital Markets Counsel Laura Huomo has been appointed chair of global project financing association IPFA’s Nordic branch council.

Laura Huomo has been a member of IPFAs Nordic branch council for many years and succeeds Joseph Wright as branch council chair.

International Project Finance Association (IPFA) is a global professional association that connects and promotes the collective interests of both public and private sector organizations, and professional individuals involved in infrastructure and energy project financing.

The IPFA branch councils are formed of local industry practitioners who support IPFA in developing the region’s activities and membership base. The council board members act as ambassadors to promote the aims of the association, to encourage new members, and to advance infrastructure and project financing throughout the world.

IPFA is funded and guided by its members, which include the industry’s leading investors, lenders, advisors, developers, sponsors and government institutions active in infrastructure and energy markets around the world. It is the only global network for professionals and organizations involved in every aspect of energy and infrastructure project financing.
