Roschier works pro bono with various non-profit organizations and initiatives that aim to make the world a better place, especially for children.
One of the organizations we work with is Missing Children Europe. The organization has recently published a report together with ECPAT and eNACSO that examines the transposition by 27 EU Member States of Directive 2011/93/EU on combating sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography. The report is part of a three-year project in which Roschier has been reviewing the Finnish and Swedish laws and regulations related to the EU directive, including an audit of the national authorities’ and courts’ handling of such matters.
