Roschier continues to be the leading law firm in Finland according to the Prospera Law Firm Review 2017. The survey results show that Roschier has the strongest market standing and the best legal competence on the market. In particular, the firm has further improved its scores among the respondents representing the biggest buyers of legal services (Tier 1A).
Roschier's solid reputation in the Finnish legal market is again confirmed by the recent Prospera Law Firm Review 2017. Conducted for the ninth time in Finland, the survey comprises an evaluation of law firms by organizations with a significant volume of annual purchases of legal services. The key areas measured by the survey are overall performance, brand awareness and legal competence across a number of areas.
Similarly to last year, legal expertise, high-quality legal advice and specialist skills are the most important attributes that companies look for in a legal advisor. The respondents rate the skills of Roschier's lawyers and the firm's capability to handle large projects as the best in the market. Clients representing the biggest buyers of legal services rank the firm number one also in terms of specialist competence and client understanding. The survey further confirms that Roschier's legal expertise is considered the foremost in the market in areas such as Corporate Governance & Compliance; M&A; Private Equity; Capital Markets; Competition & EU; Intellectual Property; and IT, Telecom, Media & Entertainment.
"Evaluating the client experience is key in a highly competed market, and the Prospera Law Firm Review is an important tool for receiving feedback about our performance – but also about client preferences," says Mikko Manner, Partner and Head of Roschier's Helsinki office. "We are very happy to note that the firm continues to be widely recognized as a provider of high-quality legal services and that our long-term focus on offering the best expertise in the market is reflected in the results," Manner concludes.
The Prospera Law Firm Review is conducted by TNS Sifo, part of the Kantar Sifo Group, an independent market research company for the financial and legal industry, offering benchmark and customized surveys. For the 2017 edition of the Finnish survey, almost 200 organizations were interviewed between November 2016 and January 2017. The number of law firms evaluated was 11.
