Roschier is looking to hire a Finance Specialist to join its Finance & Reporting team in Stockholm.

We are now looking for a Finance Specialist who’s ready to take ownership of the firm’s cash management process in Sweden. In this position, you will have your own area of responsibilities as well as assist your colleagues in daily financial operations in line with Roschier’s business objectives. You will be located at our office in central Stockholm and be part of a cross-border team, working with colleagues in both Finland and Sweden, gaining insight into an international and dynamic professional services organization. For the position, we are looking for a person who is diligent and flexible, has an eye for detail, and is a true team player.

Your main tasks will include but are not limited to

  • handling account statements (daily) with the allocation of costs or adding bookkeeping details to transactions and transferring them to bookkeeping
  • deal with internal and external customers to facilitate allocation of payments correctly to accounts
  • facilitate allocation of payments correctly to accounts or client fund payments per request
  • co-ordinate and advise both the credit controlling team and appropriate internal teams on receipts of payments
  • process and clear all transactions from all banks and support general ledger accounts in line with reporting requirements
  • handling companies’ cash balances and taking care of the manual payment transactions
  • responsibility over handling client fund payments at M&A closings and keeping track of them
  • preparing and developing cash forecasts ensuring better liquidity and cash management
  • participating in cash management and Finance related tasks and projects

You may be the person we are looking for if you

  • have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field
  • have 1-3 years of experience in the finance function of a company
  • are passionate about the job and have a genuine interest in their own professional development
  • have a proactive approach and good problem-solving skills
  • enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a hands-on attitude
  • enjoy inspiring teamwork in a business that extends across teams and borders
  • have good communication and interaction skills
  • have excellent written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English
  • knowledge of Nomentia and Maconomy is considered an advantage
